This new series, made in our workshop in France, celebrates the historic expertise and reputation of the Déglon brand. The serration on bread knives has helped to forge the brand's reputation: the famous "half-moon" serration, with its incomparable cutting edge, was developed by Jean Déglon in the 1930s.Special features: the "half-moon" serration protects the cutting edge from direct contact with the cutting surface (marble, stainless steel, etc.) while allowing the food to be clearly cut thanks to the very sharp points of the teeth.
Taiga is a dense, woody handle with a very slightly curved line. It evokes the collective imagination of the "Great Wild North", the Boreal Forest with its many lakes.
Olive wood, on the other hand, has a light, highly grained colour: it's a noble, elegant material that's much sought-after. It is characterised by its high density, resistance and impermeability to odours and bacteria.
Slices beautiful pies, crowns and loaves with the thickest crusts, as well as brioches and pies.
